Paige Elizabeth Heller
Paige was born August 30th,2009 at 4:25 pm. Weighing in at 2# 14oz. She was 9 weeks early but doing great.

Week 27 Post
Your Pregnancy: Week 27
Got a sudden pain in your rear? That's just baby, settling into place for his upcoming debut. His head might be pressing on your sciatic nerve, which can cause pain and numbness down the backs of your legs. Don't worry -- it'll ease up soon after labor. For now, your aching back deserves a pat. You've reached trimester three!
Baby's now the size of an eggplant!
Baby's lungs are going through some major developments these days, which (combined with the opening of previously plugged nostrils) means he's now able to practice inhaling and exhaling. The lack of air in your womb means every "breath" is filled with amniotic fluid, but hey -- it's progress

Week 20 Post
Baby's digestive system is busy creating meconium (a tarry black substance made of swallowed amniotic fluid, digestive secretion and dead cells), which will fill the first diaper after birth. And, speaking of the diaper situation... baby's genitals are now fully formed!
We can't believe our baby has come this far. Still waiting to know what we're having and hoping the baby will cooperate this friday. Anyways all is going well and can't wait to have this baby in october.

Week 13
Your fetus is forming teeth and vocal cords... savor this, their non-functional phase. Baby is approaching normal proportions, with a head now only one third the size of the body. Intestines are in the process of moving from the umbilical cord to baby's tummy. (Much more convenient.)

9 week post
I can hardly believe we have reached the 9 week mark. I am beyond thrilled and can't wait for this baby to be here. Anyways so far all things with the baby are great. Heard the baby's heartbeat for the first time a couple days ago on the 25th of March. Baby's heartbeat was 180. My Diabetes is also going well since the pregnancy.
Anyways this is gonna be a short post but our next Big U/S and OB appt is on April 17th. So look for updates soon.
